october's coming

esok da masuk bulan october. berdebar2 nyeee. aku ade sesuatu yang penting untuk dibuat dalam bulan october ni.

and it's a big decision i have to make. it involves my life and future. berat je bunyinye kan. indeed.

hopefully, aku dapat buat keputusan yang betul dan terbaik. it's all for my own good. ya Allah, berilah aku petunjuk dan hidayahMu.

perasaan aku bercampur-baur. takut pun ade. risau. gembira. macam2 perasaan la aku ade sekarang. tak sabar nak selesaikan semuanya. hopefully, semuanye berjalan lancar seperti yang diharapkan. amin.

selamat hari raya everyone. i'm so happy that i had a great one. enjoyed this raya so much. alhamdulillah. i had so much fun this raya.

this is my second and last raya in sydney. and i'm looking forward to celebrating raya at home next year. no word can describe how much i miss celebrating raya with my loved ones.

on the first day of raya, we solat raya together in unit 193. we then bermaaf2an among us. we had roti jala and samosa for breakfast that morning.

after that, we went to malaysia hall. they had an open house. there were so many people. it's hot. and the queu was sooo long. they had a variety of malaysian foods which i know i'm craving for. but, sadly, i only eat nasi impit cos i was just not willing to line up for a second time.

came back from malaysia hall, we visited farouk's house, where we had rendang albino like what syairah called it. the color of the rendang was so pale. there were also masak lodeh and kuah kacang. they were awesome. thanx farouk for the lovely treat.

we then walked to mard, sue, mimi, murni and sarah's house. they served us with nasi impit and rendang too. but this time i only had some cookies cos my tummy just couldnt accept anymore food.

danny, imran, kacang and aisamuddin's house was our last destination for the day. their house was beautiful. there, we had rendang too. a very hot rendang but i like it. it's raining while we were at the guys' house. so, we solat asar there while waiting for the rain to stop to walk back.

yesterday, i attended an open house organised by our cohort 5 junior. thanxalott guys. there were so much foods - satay, nasi minyak, rendang, chicken curry and a few other foods. katrina also came with us. and she wore baju kurung. she looked so pretty in baju kurung.

i had lovely days of raya this year. thank God. i'm gonna miss these beautiful moments when i'm in malaysia soon.

hari raya's eve

the night before hari raya, we had a gathering at unit 193. we solat isyak together and bertakbir. oh it was so beautiful when it's my turn to bertakbir. i just couldnt describe how i felt. it's my first time.

we then spent the nite enjoying ourselves with sparkles. it was so joyful cos we try to form words by the sparkles. and they turned out to be so cool. we were so excited.

cornflakes madu

yesterday, i was a bit sad. aku sedih sebab aku tak rase pon kemeriahan nak beraya kat sini. not at all. and i'm homesick. and how i wish i was at home now ;(

so, last night, miza ajak aku buat kuih cornflakes madu. untuk membuatkan kiteorang merasakan suasana nak beraya. sambil buat kuih, aku pasang lagu raya. walaupun tak semeriah macam kat umah, tapi sedikit sebanyak dapat la buat aku feeling raya.

senang jek buat cornflakes madu nie. sebab tu kiteorang buat hehe. walaupun kuih nie tak cukup tradisional, tapi takpelah, janji buat kan. at least, ade jugak kuih kiteorang buat untuk sambutan raya terakhir kiteorang kat aussie nie.

setelah siap buat, miza raya macam sikit sangat jek kuih kiteorg tu. so dia ajak aku buat sekali lagi. so, wujudlah second batch of our cornflakes madu.

school prawns

last day of classes before mid term break. yay. and it's conception day today. they're having concert and stuff at uni. i can hear the music from my room. i bet they must be having a really good time.

i'm a bit happy today. dapat beli udang murah. bukan senang nak jumpe udang which is sold at aud8.99 per kg. once in a blue moon. thanx de costi for the cheap price. they put its name as school prawns. they must be the educated ones haha.


aku beli setengah kilo. it cost me aud4.65 jek. sangat murah. tue pun da dapat banyak jugak. alhamdulillah. lame jugak dah tak makan udang.


at first, ingatkan nak masak sambal tumis petai with udang. tapi lupa petai da abes. maklumla branded petai, mane bole simpan lelama. so, i cooked sea food tomyam for breakfast. it's very lavish with vegetables - cauliflower, brocoli, carrot - until i could hardly find the prawns.

enjoyed the prawns so much till i forgot to snap a photo of the tomyam. weeee ;)

oh how i wish i was there. meriahnyee dapat berbuka puasa ramai2. rindunyee nak balik ;(

new housemate

am struggling to finish my educ391 assignment. it's due tomorrow. arghh. and i, waaaay to reach that 1800 words.

just before i start doing my assignment, a very short post (i promise).

we've got a new housemate yesterday. she's a local. a 19-year old happy-go-lucky girl. she's very friendly and kind. she lives in the room just next to my room.

at first, i thought i would be a disaster. but it's certainly not.

her name is katrina. she's lovely. and last night, for the second time someone asked me about the ring. katrina asked "i saw your ring. what is it for?". hehe.

btw, katrina, we're happy to have you in this house.
